Comments about the courses
"A complete beginner to portrait and life drawing, I was initially apprehensive but left both workshops elated (if exhausted!) and inspired.Hazel is a born teacher communicating the technical basics whilst also enabling and encouraging creativity and introducing students to different media. After the Life Drawing workshop I had a couple of the resultant pictures framed (the first time I had ever been happy enough with anything I produced to do this). The framer asked who the artist was and then demanded the name of my teacher when I explained these were my first ever attempt at Life Drawing! Hazel has gifted me what I am sure will be a lifetime of pleasure in drawing and painting the human form".

"In 2012 I attended three Portrait and Life Drawing courses taken by Hazel Bowman. The content was excellent and varied. Hazel included anatomy as part of the courses, giving invaluable knowledge to her students to help them draw their subjects accurately. Prior to this In 2011/12, I attended a 12 week portrait course at a "well known" art school. The course was disappointing as I finished it feeling I had learned hardly anything. I can highly recommend Hazel's workshops".

" I love Hazel's classes. The day is well planned with high quality teaching. She gives her students much support and encouragement and I always come away exhausted, happy and very inspired! "

Hi Hazel,
"Thank you once again for a fantastic weekend you have such an amazing artistic talent and such a great way of teaching, both of which were much appreciated! I felt very relaxed in your class in spite of everything being so new to me! It was all great fun and a great experience I have learned so much and feel inspired! I would love to join another class in the futureand appreciate you keeping me on your mailing listfor any such events".
